The SSDEC has developed a handbook, Scholarships, Bursaries, and Awards Handbook, to provide information about scholarships, bursaries, and awards available to students entering into their first year of post-secondary education.

Many universities and colleges have databases of scholarships available to their students, so make sure you check out the website of the school you are planning on attending to see what else you may be eligible for. A simple search for "scholarship database Canada" will also help you find thousands of scholarships.

Many scholarships, bursaries, and awards go unawarded every year because no one applies for them. Put in the time and effort. It will pay off!
